Dow Versus The Housing Sector

So far the Dow has avoided a major correction and I’m not talking just 10% to 15%. If we compare the Dow to the Housing sector in general there has been a time lag between the two over the past 10 years. In the chart below I’m using Centex (CTX) to represent the Housing sector versus the Dow. In the late 1990’s CTX went through a correction (points A to B) however the Dow continued higher (points C to D).
