Hump Day Brings A Split Day

Wednesday brought a split day for the markets. The Nasdaq Composite (COMPX) and the Nasdaq 100 (NDX) closed green on the day taking back yesterdays losses on heavier volume leaving an accumulation day. While the S&P 500 (SPX) and the Dow (INDU) closed slightly red and also on heavier volume leaving a distribution day, due to the weakness in financials. Crude closed down $1.91 at $122.40 and gold closed up 50 cents at $885.00 an ounce.
