Friday left the markets shaking off an opening that faded off and then regained its footing to rally all afternoon. Volume was mixed on the day the NYSE was higher than Thursdays by a hair, but the Nasdaq significantly underpaced Thursdays. The Nasdaq and Dow traded narrow range inside days and the S&P 500 traded just over Thursdays high. All broader indexes are still in range and not really a week that changed a lot technically speaking. Oil closed up $2.43 at $118.49 and Gold was down $1.00 to $888.40 an ounce.
