Benign Consolidation

The market gave back some of its outsized gains from yesterday, but just a little bit. Considering the S&P gained +47 points yesterday, I am not too fazed by giving back 11 today. And volume shrank, which is what you want to see on a pullback.The Investor’s Intelligence poll came out today, and it showed more bearishness that it has at any time since October 2002 - the bottom of the last great bear market.
